When running a game it is important to make sure that you:
- Make Sure that you have all the equipment before you start playing.
- Make sure that you have enough players.
- Get players into start position before you explain the rules.
- Explain the rules slowly and clearly
- Make sure everyone knows the boundaries
- Don't assume that everyone knows the rules even in a very simple game.
- Choose the right game for the occasion
- Make sure YOU understand the game before playing it
- Make sure you give the game a name so they can ask so it again
- Never play the same game each week
- Use different types of games
- If a game doesn't go to plan change the rules as you are playing
- Make teams and pair even
- Do a trail run with a couple of team members
